I like your use of Japanese for the names of attacks, city names, ect...
For Shinsakana City, I'm assuming that the kanji for 'sakana' is 魚 meaning fish (a very good hint for what types of characters our protagonists will encounter)...but what kanji are you using for 'shin'? I'm only curious because I studied Japanese in college.
